Lodge has a tradition of award-winning cuisine. Our handpicked
chefs have extensive culinary experience and are committed
to presenting the finest dining experience. Because we have
an interest in cuisine, and particularly Alaskan cuisine,
we have an emphasis on culinary excellence and education.
You are welcome to come into the kitchen at any time to help
us cook! For those that aren’t so adventuresome, we
would be happy to schedule a cooking class in our commercial
kitchen with one of our chefs.
Meals are served from one daily menu that is displayed in
the main lodge, with designated times (7:45 a.m. breakfast,
1:00 p.m. lunch, and 7:00 p.m. dinner). Overnight guests are
invited to join us for hors d’oeuvres at 6:00 p.m.,
at our bar, prior to dinner. We offer a wide selection of
fine wines and premium beer on tap. Please feel free to request
special dishes or tell us your dislikes. We have frequent
barbecues on the deck, which often feature Alaska’s
famous salmon and local meats. Guests dine together in the
dining area. We believe that good food is one of life’s
great pleasures!
